Pearls of Lyon Family Walking Tour
Welcome to our three-hour family-friendly walking tour of Lyon where you will be exploring some of the city’s most historic and beautiful landmarks. The journey begins in front of the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste, a stunning gothic cathedral located in the heart of Lyon’s Old Town. Then we will make our way up the Fourvière hill to the Théâtre Gallo Romain de Lyon-Fourvière where we will admire unique scenes of an ancient site while becoming more familiar with Lyon and its incredible history. From there, we’ll venture into the charming old town of Lyon to explore Les traboules du Vieux Lyon, a series of hidden passageways and courtyards, and witness one of the most famous traboules in Lyon, which features a beautiful spiral staircase and colorful murals. We’ll then make our way to the Fresque des Lyonnais, a massive mural that depicts over 30 famous figures from Lyon’s history The tour ends at the Lyon Botanical Garden, a peaceful oasis on the east side of the city.
