    Another must-see place. It is a large palace in Granada that has been builtover the centuries, was build in 1238. Between 1500-1558, the palace is named after Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and one of the most powerful in 16th century in Europe.

    It is ancient military fortress since 11th century and being the oldest part of Alhambra as well. It is a well-preserved palace and fortress served as a state prison and showcases a blend of Moorish and Roman architecture.
