Half Day Trip From Victoria Falls To The Chobe
Tour will start from your hotel in Victoria Falls or Livingstone. We will be at the Zimbabwe – Botswana border and after simple immigration formalities we head straight to the Chobe National Park for a three hour game viewing. Mornings are the best times to spot the big cats as they will still be active and hunting. After check in at the National Parks gate (only 10 minutes from the border) we head off on a
game drive – getting close to nature with specially adapted open sided 4 x 4 safari vehicles. Frequent lion sightings occur in Chobe, Eland, Sable, and Roan antelope are common at certain times of the year. Leopards are elusive but common in the area – you may be lucky! Drives are typically along the waterfront where game congregates to quench their thirst, with Lions often lying in wait or just dozing in the shade. Chobe National Park is also known for its elephants, and big herds of them can be encountered on a good day. Complimentary soft drinks are provided while experiencing some of the best game viewing in Africa. After a 3 hour game viewing safari we return to the Chobe Safari Lodge (4 star) for buffet lunch before heading for the border to transfer to Victoria Falls. As we drive back to the Victoria Falls through the Zambezi National Park wildlife can still be seen on the way.
