Please remember that the Duomo is first of all a place of worship. Modest attire is mandatory to be able to enter the Cathedral, which means shoulders and thighs have to be covered. In particular, bare-backed and/or low-cut clothing, shorts, miniskirts, and hats are not allowed inside the Milan Duomo Cathedral.
