National Assembly Building
The National Assembly Building of Belize is the home of Belize's two houses of Parliament,House of Representatives and Senate of Belize. Opeaned in 1971, the building is withing of goverment buildings at Melhado Parade on Indepedence Plaza in Belmopan and mimics Pre-Columbian Mayan and brutalist architectural designs.
Belmopan Market Plaza
Belmopan's Market Square is located near the bus terminal corner Constitution Drive and Bliss Parade. It is a central place where vendors set up small stalls to sell their products. Almost anything can be found here including fruits, vegetables, clothes and electronics.
George Price Center for Peace & Development
