As a native New Orleanian, I have spent my working career on the development, promotion and history of New Orleans. I have a master’s degree in urban studies and I have more than 30 years experience as a tour guide, with 20 years as a guide for the Council for International Visitors, a volunteer arm of the United States State Department. I have both Tour Guide and Driver for Hire Licenses with the City of New Orleans. I also have CPNC and SS licenses, allowing me to conduct tours on foot and in an authorized tour vehicle. I have general and comprehensive auto liability insurance and I have conducted thousands of tours over the years. My tours are private, fact-based, comprehensive and designed to teach visitors about the people, culture and history of New Orleans. My goal is to provide a fun-filled yet informative experience that helps visitors understand what makes New Orleans such a colorful place to live and visit.
