    Meet our tour guide who will ensure that everyone is ready to embark on the amazing journey. As you wander along the well-maintained trails, you'll be immersed in the tranquility of the forest, surrounded by ferns, mosses, and a diverse array of plant life. The park is also home to various wildlife, including deer, banana slugs, and a variety of bird species. The main feature of Muir Woods is its magnificent coast redwood trees (Sequoia sempervirens), some of which are over 1,000 years old and reach heights of up to 250 feet (76 meters). These ancient giants create a serene and enchanting atmosphere, with their towering canopies filtering the sunlight and creating a peaceful, cathedral-like setting. Transportation to Muir Woods and back to San Francisco is allocated in total tour duration.
