    Port Hercule

    Port Hercules is Monaco's sole deep-water port, and it has been in use since antiquity. The present port was constructed in 1926 and underwent significant renovations in the 1970s. It spans over 40 acres (160,000 m2) and can accommodate up to 700 boats. The port is located in the district of La Condamine. All vessels greater than 30 meters require the services of a harbour pilot. The harbor's depth ranges from seven meters for ordinary berths to 40 meters for the outlying piers and cruise liner docks.
