    Shinsaibashi Shopping Street

    Shopping on Shinsaibashi-suji is a must if you're in Osaka. There are stores catering to shoppers of all ages along the 600-meter covered walkway. It is a place to get authentic Japanese food, fast food, jewelry, and trendy boutiques, in addition to the more traditional kimono tailors.

    The bridge links the areas of Shinsaibashi-suji and Ebisubashi-suji in the heart of the city. Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the footbridge, giving pedestrians more space to stroll across the Dotonbori.
