    New Palace

The New Palace is the last royal residence Frederick the Great would have built in his park. It was a demonstration of the Prussian state’s undiminished power and wealth following the deprivations of the Seven Years’ War

    Sanssouci Palace

The location of the palace beside its well-known vineyard terraces and the originally preserved 18th-century interior decoration allow visitors to delve into the world.

    Church of Peace

Approaching the church, the impressive 42-meter-high free-standing bell tower catches the eye. I particularly like the beautiful inner courtyard with the statue of Christ. Only a replica stands here today. The original by Bertel Thorwaldsen can be seen in Copenhagen's Frauenkirche. The figure is standing on a well with a saying on the rim that translates as "Cleanse yourself from sins and not just your face".

    Museum Barberini

Located on the bank of the Havel in Potsdam, the Barberini Palace was used as a venue to stage art exhibits and cultural events since the mid-nineteenth century. The museum presents three temporary exhibitions each year with major loans from international private collections and museums.
